FRIEND OF FAR RESOLUTION

of the 1A FACULTY ATHLETICS REPRESENTATIVES (1A FAR) in Annual Meeting Convened, September 27, 2010 Whereas:

Julie Cromer is an articulate individual with deep and broad knowledge of NCAA bylaws and policies and exceptional judgment and intelligence,

and Julie Cromer’s focus at the NCAA was on development of academic policy and its implementation,

and During her NCAA tenure Julie Cromer was liaison to the Committee on Academic Performance and the Academics/Eligibility/Compliance Cabinet,

and During her NCAA tenure Julie Cromer was NCAA staff liaison to the Faculty Athletics Association (FARA),

and Most recently and most particularly, Julie Cromer was NCAA staff liaison to the 1A FAR.

Therefore, In recognition of all the aforesaid, be it resolved:
To express deep appreciation to Julie Cromer for all she has done to advance the academic platform of collegiate athletics, to facilitate the work of FARs on campus, and to support the policies and initiatives of the 1A FAR, and To extend best wishes to Julie Cromer in her position as Senior Associate Athletics Director for Compliance and Senior Woman Administrator at Indiana University and in all her future professional endeavors, and, finally To declare Julie Cromer a once, current, future, and always FRIEND OF FAR
